CBH employees get in on the act and celebrate show time

This year is our sixth year participating in the show with the aim of engaging with our city counterparts to increase interest around the grains industry and engage children and families while showcasing what CBH does and how we work.

The show sold out by 1pm, the first time in show history, but it was also the first time a daily crowd cap of 60,000 had been imposed thanks to COVID restrictions.

COVID restrictions did make it a little harder this year with certain parts of our display unable to be included, however, it didn’t seem to stop the kids having a brilliant time. 

Each year CBH employees volunteer on across the long weekend and the final Saturday of the show, sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm with show-goers!

This year we had 12 CBH employees volunteer a half day each which saw them engage with hordes of excited children, helping them sample grain and mill wheat and oats.
