Nominations close for 2025 CBH Member Director Elections

Following the closure of nominations today for candidates seeking to nominate outside of the Candidate Assessment Panel (CAP) process for the 2025 CBH Member Director Elections, the Western Australian Electoral Commission (WAEC) has advised that an additional candidate has nominated.
An election will now be held in District 2, with a total of four candidates seeking election or re-election – three candidates having completed the CAP process and one candidate nominating outside of the CAP process.
The current Directors whose three-year terms expire at the CBH Group Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 21 February 2025 are Jeff Seaby (District 2), Barry West (District 3) and Helen Woodhams (District 4).
In District 2, the nominees are Jeff Seaby (incumbent) from Mukinbudin, Russell Inman from Cadoux, Tracy Lefroy from Moora and John O’Neil from Mukinbudin (nominated outside the CAP process).
Incumbent Directors Barry West and Helen Woodhams have been re-elected unopposed in Districts 3 and 4 respectively, with their formal re-appointment to take place at the CBH AGM on Friday 21 February 2025 at Crown Perth.
In addition to the usual paper ballot, CBH members in District 2 will also have the option to vote online for the 2025 Member Director Elections.
Those who vote online will need their member number and the mobile number connected to the primary contact of their business’ CBH account. If members are unsure of the primary contact mobile number, then members can check online on LoadNet or by calling the Grower Service Centre.
Ballot packs containing full voting information will also be mailed to Members in District 2 on Thursday 9 January 2025. Members can then choose if they would like to vote electronically or via paper ballot.
Grower Members in District 2 need to have their votes in prior to the close of poll at 10:00am on Monday 17 February 2025.
The voting count process will begin immediately after the close of poll at 10.00am on Monday, 17 February 2025.
The results will be announced following the counting of votes on Monday 17 February 2025 with the formal appointment to take place at the CBH Annual General Meeting on Friday 21 February 2025 at Crown Perth.
