Metro Grain Centre

Located in the Shire of Kalamunda, the Metro Grain Centre (MGC) was created in 1998 to establish a world-class grain-handing complex on the tail of both standard and narrow gauge rail lines. It is connected by road and rail with the port in Fremantle, for container shipping, and Kwinana port for bulk handling of grain. It has a total storage capacity of 223,785 tonnes and consists of 10 blocks of silos.
