CBH welcomes new Growers' Advisory Council appointments
Grower-owned co-operative CBH Group has welcomed five new members to its Growers’ Advisory Council (GAC), strengthening grower representation across Districts 3, 4 and 5.
The newly appointed Councillors will join Chair Clayton South from Wagin and Deputy Chair Reece Curwen from South Stirling, who were confirmed in their leadership roles earlier this year.
The five new Councillors are:
District 3
- Lindsay Marsh, Karlgarin
- Ashlyn Ridgway, Beverley
District 4
- Nathan Crosby, Woogenellup
District 5
- Jodi Duncan, Ravensthorpe
- Jason Vermeesch, Cascade
Each Councillor will commence their four-year term on 1 July 2026.
The positions became available following the expiry of the terms of sitting Councillors: Tarnya Fraser, Tamara Alexander, Peter Kirchner and Jules Alvaro. Following the tragic passing of Mark Mudie in December, his position in District 5 was also declared vacant.
The GAC is made up of 16 Western Australian grain growers and provides a direct grass-roots connection between growers and the CBH Board and management, helping ensure grower views inform key decisions across the co-operative.
CBH Chair Simon Stead congratulated the incoming Councillors on their successful appointment.
“I’m pleased to welcome five new members to the Growers’ Advisory Council and congratulate them on their appointments,” Mr Stead said.
“The GAC gives growers a direct voice in shaping the future of their co-operative. These new Councillors bring valuable local insight and fresh perspectives as we continue delivering on our Path to 2033 Strategy.
“I look forward to hearing their insights and working together to deliver better outcomes for WA growers.
“I’d also like to acknowledge our outgoing members and thank them for the contribution they’ve made to the GAC and the wider grain industry.”
The new Councillors will attend their first GAC meeting on Thursday 6 August 2026.
