Three new members join CBH's Growers' Advisory Council

2/7/2025

The CBH Group has welcomed three new members to its Growers’ Advisory Council (GAC).

The three new Councillors are:

  • Brad Collins of Morawa (District 1)
  • Judith Foss of Bruce Rock (District 3)
  • Kirk Jeitz of Lort River (District 5).

Each Councillor has been appointed for a four-year term, starting on 1 July 2025.

The three positions became available following the expiry of the terms of sitting Councillors: Laurie Butler of Perenjori, Craig Doney of Harrismith, and Lyndon Mickel of Beaumont.

The GAC is made up of 16 Western Australian grain growers and provides an invaluable grass-roots connection between growers and the CBH Board and management.

CBH Chair Simon Stead congratulated the incoming Councillors and welcomed them to the GAC.

“I extend a warm welcome to our three new GAC members and congratulate them on their successful appointments,” Mr Stead said.

“The new members are joining the co-operative at an exciting time, as we continue to progress our Path to 2033 Strategy and drive efficiencies across our supply chain.

“I look forward to hearing their perspectives and working together to advocate for better outcomes for WA growers.

“I’d like to thank our outgoing members Laurie, Craig and Lyndon for their contribution, passion and dedication to the co-operative and the broader grains industry.”

The new Councillors will attend their first GAC meeting on Thursday 7 August 2025.
