Special General Meeting Result

The CBH Group Special General Meeting was held today in Perth.
Grower members participated in the meeting via webcast and teleconference due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions on regional travel and public gatherings.
Members were asked to consider and pass the following resolution:
“That Mr Trevor Badger be removed as a Director of the Co-operative effective immediately on the passing of the resolution.”
Mr Trevor Badger attended the meeting in person and accepted the opportunity to speak to members. In response to the Chairman’s proposed adjournment of the meeting, Mr Badger moved a motion that there be no adjournment to today’s meeting.
The results of voting on the resolution are as follows:

772 votes for the resolution representing 51.09% of the vote

739 votes against the resolution, representing 48.91% of the vote

The resolution was passed as an ordinary resolution.
“I would like to thank members for participating in this difficult but necessary process,” CBH Chair Simon said.
“I am confident our Board can now move forward together as a united and professional group.
“I thank Mr Badger for his many years of service to the Co-operative.”
