On 27 April 2015, Main Roads WA will introduce the ‘Chain of Responsibility’ legislation which recognises the responsibilities that each party has in the transportation of goods by road, beyond that of just the driver and operator.
The Chain of Responsibility laws will apply to all vehicle types, including light vehicles less than 4.5 tonnes. In Western Australia, the laws will only extend to vehicle mass, dimension and load restraint breaches.
The CBH Group will donate $153,000 to charity through the Harvest Mass Management Scheme (HMMS) for the 2014-15 season.
